Mine leaks oil badly. Is there info in the FSM for this procedure?

No. There's nothing in the FSM, as Mercedes expects dealers to replace the entire IP. But, they do sell all the external seals/gaskets separately. It's pretty straightforward... remove each external plate, replace seal, install plate. Don't forget a new O-ring from the block to the IP. All the part numbers are in the EPC.

Are there internal o-rings to cause external issues?

Only one, for the L7 rack travel sensor. MB doesn't sell this O-ring and you can't replace it without full pump disassembly. However, you can remove the top lock ring and apply external sealant, then screw the nut down into the sealant, and let it dry. This at least slows the leak in this area. Interestingly, some of the rebuilt pumps I've bought leaked here too... not sure if the rebuilders don't normally replace this O-ring, or if it's just a very common leak point.
95% of the oil leak can be cured with the external re-seal using MB parts. |

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Okay, I need to do some thinking then. Any clue what the torque should be for those fasteners?

Seriously, I'm not aware of any formal specs, although Bosch may have some. My guess is low single digit Nm, possibly dNm. For the O-ring items it doesn't really matter. Fortunately the only one that could warp the plate is the side plate, and you can change that one with the pump on the car if there are issues afterwards. The rest are almost idiot-proof. |

Time to poke around the EPC. Thanks again.

Sixto's list is correct. Here is a slightly longer list from my notes. This is for the OM603 IP only, btw. The 601/602 will use some different gaskets:
