Does twisting the dimmer knob help?
Check the fuses. If you have no record of replacing in the fuses in the last 10 years, throw them away and get a fresh set of fuses. Sixto 87 300D^2 |

There are 2 knobs in the gauge cluster. Turning the left knob adjusts the dimmer, pressing the left knob resets the trip meter, pressing and turning the right knob adjusts the clock.
The main fuse box is beside the brake booster where you found it. The fuses can go bad while looking intact. There is an 80-amp strip fuse in the glow relay and possibly a 30-amp strip fuse for the AC blower in its own case just outside the main fuse box. Sixto 87 300D^2 |

After checking the fuses as Sixto mentions and if that checks out. Start car, turn fans, lights on then ever so slightly move key left to right, left to right. If fans, lughts come on the i mod is worn out.

TX76513 brings up an excellent point - it could be a worn key switch.
