High flow oxidizer trap for E300

Fellas,
I've had a 3" straight pipe (turbo back) exhaust on my E300 for the past two years. The only muffling device I have is a Brabus muffler on the end of the straight pipe. The car has an awesome roar to it. However, I'm growing a little tired of the sound and would like to muffle it slightly. I was thinking about adding a MagnaFlow universal diesel convertor.
Has anyone had experience with these? If so, which one would you recommend for my use? I'm assuming I'll have to use the smallest option with a 3.5" inlet and a 4" outlet. Any insight or suggestions are appreciated.

Those cats seem to work well, lots of TDI guys use them. They aren't legal in CA.

Thanks for the feedback. This is probably the route I will go.
