Vacuum diagram for heater, ign, and locks?
Searching on here has turned up a bunch of under the hood vacuum diagrams, but how about ones for the rest of the car? Maybe something saying what the colors of the tubes going through the firewall means? I need this for a 1987 300d.
Thank you! |

There is no vacuum for ignition. It takes at least 300psi and a bunch of heat
![]() The brown lines through the firewall are for the engine shut-off key switch. The black lines through the firewall are vents that terminate a few inches into the cabin. There is no single diagram for the rest of the car. The is an ACC vacuum diagram in the FSM but that bundle is stays within the dash except for the supply line through the firewall. I don't know the color of the supply line off the top of my head but it's probably green or red. The FSM is available at startekinfo.com free of charge to US residents. I don't recall a central locking or headrest retract system diagrams other than in the EPC which is also available online free of charge to US residents. The EPC doesn't give the color of the lines but you might be able to infer from the part number. Sixto 87 300D^2 |
