More A/C questions...

I am preparing to replace the compressor, TXV and drier on my 300SD. I will be flusing the system as well.
In reading the FSM it states to add 300cc of oil if the compressor is new and the system flushed. It goes on to say add 20cc when replacing the condenser, 10cc for replacing the drier and 40cc for replacing the evaporator.
Adding together the amounts listed for the the parts I will be replacing that totals 330cc, much more that the 6 to 8 ounces I "thought" was the correct amount. Am I reading this correctly, or does the 300cc cover all the other components as well?
I have Supercool PB8 PAG blue oil but I cannot determine if this is the correct weight oil. I believe it is 46 viscosity and I have read 150 PAG is correct for this application.
My plan is to pressurize the system with #120 CO2 and check for leaks while there is still some refrigerant in the system for my sniffer.
Replace the comp, drier and TXV. I will distribute the oil charge between the cond, drier and pre-lubed compressor. Pressurize with #120 of CO2 and check for leakdown. Evacuate 1 to 2 hours and charge with refrigerant.
The system calls for 2.9 lbs of R12 so I calculated at 80 percent (2.3)it needs 2lbs 4 oz of R134a.
Any things I missed, got wrong or suggestions?

My math comes up with 370cc, but those numbers are for individual component replacement, not for total system installation.
use the total oil volume as your number!

Your math is correct but I didn't make clear I was not replacing the evap so I didn't add the 40cc for it.
The FSM doesn't acually say 300cc for the compressor is the total system amount but I am thinking that is what it means.
That is still a little over 10 ounces and I understand over oiling is definately not good.

You did make it clear that you were flushing the system. That should eliminate any residual oil from the evaporator.

There is your answer.
