82 300SD rod bender ?

What years in the 300SD are considered at risk for bending connecting rods ?

after 90. and it'll be a 140 chassis, not a 126 before the 300 SD gets the .970 RODBENDER 3.5L 603 engine.

If you look at Ebay.De the german site you might find the good 3 or 4 litre engines produced by Mercedes,yes there diesels

I may be wrong but I thought the rod benders were the 90 - 91 350SD and SDL 126 cars. I am not sure about the 140 cars.

79 thru 85 are built of iron.the w140 are the bad engine.

The 126 came with the rodbender in at least 1991 as I had one. Perhaps 1990 as well.
