I know that the benz has has climate control issues a lot of which I've corrected. This seems to be a new one on me.

The second button from the left (AC) I should have AC from the dash vents only (I think). But I get a slightly warm or not completly cold from the dash vents ant the the defroster vents. After a few moments the air stops from the center vent and just comes out the side vents and defroster vents.

With the third button from the left the air is coming from the dash vents (weekly and not all that cold) and the under dash vents.

When swithing the switches momentarily the air comes out of the dash vents strong and cold.

I think the mono valve is on the fritz again as I remember from last winter I unplugged it to get heat.

Any helpful suggestions or do I have to buy the wife a new car?

The AC system is full of freon (R12).
