vac pump hose
While trying to run vac test on my car. I broke off 2 barbs on the check valve attached to the vacpump hose running up to the brake booster. Can this be fixed or do I need a new hose? Also let me run this by. I show 20in of vac on that hose and it takes 7in of vac to shut off my fuel pump. What else do I need to look at if car is not shutting down when ign. is shut off. Double also is there a vac line diagram for these cars (82 240d). Something like a wiring diagram.

you're going to need to buy a new hose.

The door locks and possibly some climate control functions (recirc?) share the shut-off vacuum source. I heard locking the doors can speed up engine shut-off.
