CAn anyone tell what transmissions will work easily in a 97 E300D?
My tranny bit the dust, stuck in 2nd gear and 256K on the odometer. I dont have the cash to rebuild this, looking for a used one.

Yes, 97 was the first year for the electronic transmission correct?
