W123 300 TDT wagon Hatch moulding
 

Replacing the horizontal moulding, located above the key, I noticed something peculiar. I have two mouldings to choose from and both only have studs on the ends - both are missing the studs between the ends. The sliders (between the end studs) are there they contain a bolt head but no conical shaped plastic stud like the side mouldings have. Any suggestions on what to do, with the ones located between the ends? Bought a box of the moulding fasteners/clips so I am good on that end.

I used one from a sedan parts car. It needed to be modified a little. I really cant remember just what I did but it was obvious when I got to looking at it.
