Rear torsion bar - 85 300D
While doing some rust repair, I will need to remove rear torsion bar supports. It looks from pic and car that there should be a rubber bushing, but on epc, I don't see it.
Can anyone help?

For my 85 300d (123-133), epc shows rubber bushings for the front torsion bar, but none for the rear. And yet my car seems to have them! Confusing. But my guess is that your part number will work.

I left a post on your Benzworld thread also. The MSRP from the dealer for the part number shown was less than 4 Dollars each. If you are only going to order the Bushing from an online company you will end up paying shipping. This is one of the cases where the ovarall cost might end up favor getting the part from the Dealer.

Just wanted to highlight the confusion with epc. On BW, another owner posted a pic of the repair kit 1233200047. That clearly includes the rubber bushing even although it doesn't show on the epc diagram. The kit doesn't include the clamp (part 11) 1233260926. The kit from MB of South Atlanta is $5.25 and the clamps $4.40 each. I am sure I will pay double that from my dealer here, but as you say no freight will make the difference. Think I have it sorted now Thanks again.

Worse then that I replaced My Rear Swaybar Bushingings 3-4 months ago and have nothing with the part number on it.
I can't remember where I found the Part number; but I do know there was a part number on the Bushing itself. I did not throw the Old Bushings out but About 2 weeks ago I dumped the old parts in a Box and put the Box someplace; but where? Also I sheared off one of the Bolts that holds the Clamp down. Even though I used a Center Punch My drilled hole wondered too much to thread it back to the original threads. I ended up putting a larger diameter Bolt in. I used a regular US Bolt so the next Owner of the Car is going to be scratching His Head if He ever removes the Clamp.

You have me worried
I haven't tried breaking the bolts loose yet. If they won't come out easily, I may just work around the bushings when doing the rust repair! I had one of the rubber buffers come off (the ones that bottom out if springs are weak.). Have the bolt soaking and just hope I can get it out without breaking something!
