brain fart... fuel flow?

yes sometimes I'm a total idiot.

I'm totally spacing out on the fuel flow of the 617. Does it draw fuel from the tank to the little clear filter on the pump and return it via the cigar hose fromt he top of the big spin on filter or is it the reverse?

mostly.

the fuel is drawn through the small clear prefilter, then pumped into the spin on, then out of the spin on into the IP, then through the injectors, and out the return lines, then into the fitting on the top of the spin on and through the cigar hose, and back to the tank.

the fuel is drawn through the small clear prefilter, through the Fuel Supply Lift Pump that pumps it into the spin on filter, then out of the spin on into the IP, it passes through the IP Housing out of the IP Housing by way of the Overflow/Pressure Relief Valve and back to the 3 way Banjo Fitting on top of the Filter Housing and to the Cigar Hose (this excess Fuel flow cools the IP) and back to the Fuel Tank.
Part of the Flow from the Spin-on Fuel Filter that goes into the Fuel Injection Pump Housing goes into the Elements and is pushed through the Fuel injection Hard Lines and through the injectors, and out the return lines, then into the fitting on the top of the spin on and through the cigar hose, and back to the tank.

There is also a tiny hole in the unfiltered Fuel side of the Spin-on Fuel Filter Housing that I cannot remember where it goes.
