I'm familiar with the oddities of the 300D 85 tach. I found the door at the side of the passenger footwell. I believe this is where the EGR computer lives. I see a black plastic box. Is that it? how is it removed to check the wiring etc. I think I found the OVP already (glovebox has to come out). I've removed and cleaned the RPM sensor wire. Really, I think I just need to know how to get the EGR thing out of there without breaking more plastic.
