W123 Armrest swap lh drive to rh drive
 

In the event that anyone out there is wondering if a w123 armrest for a left hand driver car North American) can be swapped to a right hand drive seat the answer is yes. A new detent on mount bracket needs to be drilled about 90 degrees off and the same bracket switched to the opposite side - the metal hole in the seat frame needs to be enlarged as the bracket hole is offset. This does not apply if you have a european bracket/and or seat frame but if you don't . . . it can be done!
