I've posted up other threads on my project - a 1984 300SD engine and auto trans into an S10 to be used as a Land Speed Race truck - no street use.

I'm just about to pop the engine/trans out of the MB but I still have the transmission wiring to disconnect. Found the wire disconnect on the trans tunnel, driver's side inside the car. The question is:

- Do I need any of these wires?

I don't need back-up lights or the speedo (seems to be an electronic speedo as there's no cable that I can find) but I will need the neutral safety switch.

- Is the NS switch in the shifter?
