93 300d fuel leak

i have a 93 300d turbo. its leaking some from the big black connector on the top of the ip and one of the fitting where the injector line connects to the ip. not the female side of the line but the fitting on the ip. can you change the the seals/o-rings on them with out taking the pump off?? i jus had the ip put on the car used a few months ago and didnt know they leaked.

I don't know what big black connector that would be that leaks fuel. It's common to leak engine oil from the control rod sensor electrical connector inboard of the engine shutoff actuator. Not much you can do other than clean the area, smear RTV, let it dry completely before starting the engine, and sacrificing small animals. Leaks just below where the injector lines attach to the IP are typically cured by replacing the delivery valve seals. It can be done as easily in the car as out of the car but it's easier in the car with the crossover pipe out of the way. Make sure the injector lines are secured along the way to the injectors or you'll be replacing them soon enough.

The Fuel Injection Hard Lines have cone shaped male ends on the Tubing with a Female Nut. If one of those is leaking it is most often that the Steel Tubing is cracked or has developed a pin hole.

While either problem can happen anyway the cause is most often that the Fuel Injection Hard Line Clamps are broken or missing and the Hard Line is damaged due to vibration.

The cure is to replace the whole Hard Line and make sure all of the Hard Line Clamps are applied properly and are all there.

A leak below the Hard Line is all most always the delivery Valve/Pipe O-Ring needs replacing. However, it is rare but not unknown for the Delivery Valve Holder to crack.

I don't know what Black Connector you mean either? Can you post a Picture?

Leak

I don't think it's the line. I replaced it with another line. The leak is below the line. Ill work on a pic of the connector. It's on the top of the ip. The ip kinda steps up some from where the injector lines connect. And it's on the engine side of the ip in the top

Do a search on delivery valves and delivery valve seals.
