Dash & right hand parking lights out.. ground?

The other day I had my dash lights quit, and the right hand parking lights went out at the same time I believe. Thinking it was the master switch I changed that and had a moment of success..

For a little while all 4 parking lights would work, until the headlights were turned on, then the right side would go out.. No luck in getting the dash lights to come back.. and now the parking lights are back to only working on the left hand side only

I am now at a bit of a loss, suggestions welcome as to where to look/start in troubleshooting this..

What kind of car do you have?

Assuming a 123, fuse F1 is the panel lights and the right side parking lights.
Fuse F3 is the left side parking lights. There are 2 separate contacts in the switch for left and right but being you changed the switch I would suspect the fuses.

I would replace all the fuses in the car, old ones micro crack and look fine but are intermittent. They are cheap but get the ceramic/copper ones from Pelican.

Thanks for your reply and information.

My bad... yes it is a 123.. '85 300D, and I will replace the fuses, although I only have other used ones at this instant...

I will have a look at the fuses.. What is the chances that the contacts on two switches are bad? Can the master switch be pulled apart and cleaned up/lubed so that it works again? It was not obvious that such is the case, but my belief that it can't be may be clouding my perception..

Blown fuse.. I had no idea that the power went to the light switch and then through the fuse box.. on it's way to the lights and dash buzzer.

I had always thought the fuses were before the switch.. shows how much I know and understand.

Thanks again Jay-Bob, I would still be looking for the cause with out your help, and I have a drive which takes me through some traffic tonight. I will be feeling much more ease as a result of having both tail lights working now.
