front body parts for 95 E300?
This car CL ad in Raleigh looks interesting.
Anyone know where a parts car is and what one might expect to pay for a hood, grill and whatever else?

um... there is a decent 95 in charlotte CL for 2250 I've driven the car...

I won't be ready to buy for a few more weeks. The car you mention is very tmping, if it's still available. When I have cash in hand i will probably contact you first as you seem to have radar for every MB Diesel in North Carolina. The one with the busted front inerested me becasue it's been listed for a while and if I sourced the parts first I might explore making an offer. thanks

You should be able to find parts for the Henderson car from any E320. That's not a rare color either. Good thing the right fender is intact as the gills are unique to 90-95 Diesels.
[edit] I meant body parts. John mentioned radiator and condenser. The condenser might be common but the radiator isn't. That's easily $500 right there. Hmm, looking closer at the pics, it looks like both the condenser and the radiator need replacement, also, the driver's fender appears to be slammed against the drivers door...
I've fixed worse, on more than one occasion, but keep in mind the expense of repairing this one and it's value...

Caution is advised: My wife's '96 E300 (210 chassis) suffered similar damage in a collision with a deer. It didn't look too bad (no frame damage at all) but once the body work was removed, numerous other damaged parts were discovered and the final bill (thankfully paid by State Farm) was almost $8K.

yup, the 124 wagon jaybob just bought, had similar damage, but needed, water pump, radiator, condenser, hood, headlights, motor mount arm, and the oil pan was damaged.
