Fair enough but does that mean that what they ship to Mercedes is what they ship into the rest of the parts chain?

Also a claim of being an OE manufacturer apparently isn't what it used to be....

Show News

URO also claims it supplies OE parts to Mitsubishi, Volvo and others.

Bought belts for the 300SD from the dealer today. Got a banded matched pair for the alternator, the P/S and the A/C belt, all for about $30.00 my cost.

Belts are Continental in a MBZ parts sleeve and the belts are maked with the Continental logo and size (10 X 1145mm for example), the MBZ Star and the MBZ part number for the belt.

I won't use anything less and I see so many cars with Pep Boys and Autozone house brand belts!!!!!!!

meyle has always been the "cheap" euro brand in my mind. i bought a meyle steering rack boot a year ago. it was split and cracked all over in 3 months. very poor product quality imo. uro is just as bad, if not worse. if you google for uro, you'll find many examples of poor quality control and premature failures.

'O'-rings for the turbo outlet adapter are another example. The correct Mercedes-Benz o-ring is baby blue and very large, available under part number A 201 997 86 48. They last virtually forever.

The Uro and 'No Name' replacements are black and deteriorate within a month!!!!!!

Just bought all this.

Quality on everything seems fine even though its all made in China. I've never had an issue with a URO branded part thus far.

Pity you, many of these will be changed out again in a year, if you're keeping the car it matters... otherwise it matters to the future owner.

I bet the tie rod stuff goes first.

One thing you will learn on this forum, is NEVER buy URO. It's just "no, thanks", move on.

I just picked up an aux water pump, Bosche, made in germany.
A wiper nozzle and MB star both from MB, both made in germany.

The key head is fine, with an electronic switch, but in the old Benz's where you are unlocking a mechanism, they don't hold up too well...
