did you check fuses? Are fuses the new copper ones or old aluminum? You can undo all screws in the door, and lift up and off the panel. You can raise window then by removing motor. If you are close to me I can help if a w126 vehicle

Welcome to the forum, we'll help you fix the problem.
first, what kind of car is it? what year? what model, since you said the door has no metal screws, it's likely a newer vehicle, 124? 201?
the MB fuse arrangement pairs opposite corner windows on the same fuse, so it's likely a corroded aluminum cheapo fuse.

Open the driver's door, turn on the ignition, wait for the GP's to cycle off, and then operate the windows. If the dome light dims, you have a motor problem. If it doesn't, there is an open circuit somewhere in the system. I had a recalcitrant motor in my '83, one of the motor bearings was frozen. I disassembled the motor and lubed it, it's been fine ever since.

Those windows are on the same fuse. Replace the fuse, regardless of how you think it looks.

I had the same issue. I took a quick look at the Fuses and at first they looked good; that was untill I pulled one out and found the tip where it contacts the Bracket was all erroded away.

Replacing the Fuse Fixed it.
