Damn communication without facial expression can be a ***** sometimes!!!

Seriously, 1.3K is awesome. I started with an '82 SD and then had a couple SDLs. My fear with a later, more computer-reliant, car centered around the computer and electronic features of the vehicle rather than mechanical.

All I can say is, this car is friggen' AWESOME!!!

(Hey did you ever hit up Mercedes for your mythical "free Mercedes" for hitting the 1K mark? If so, what was their response?)

Yep. I've read here and other places that MB will (supposedly) give a free current model counterpart to replace the million-mile vehicle.

I imagine it's bunk.
