Rubber boot on oil sucking neck in oil pan

I had a problem in my previous 617 motor owing in part, or perhaps in large measure, with the fact that the rubber boot in question was torn about 3/4ths of the way around where it joins the steel neck. I discovered this after it started making a growling sound a few years ago and I pulled the lower pan. The bottom of the shoe sat at the lowest point of the oil pan, with what looked like a large, upside down knight in a chess game - a circular arrangement of big square hunks of rubber with gaps between and a screen in the middle.

At the same time I was driving up into the Oakland hills frequently. I suspect that the steep angle starved the engine for oil, as I ran semi-low on oil a few times, to a degree that would ordinarily not be a problem, but was with the boot problem. Sort of a perfect storm of oil starvation/dumbness. I discovered what is meant by a "hard knock."

I'm putting a new/used motor together from a promising donor. Anyone know what this rubber shoe is called? I couldn't find it on the parts list on the site here, this in the oil pumping section.

Thanks. Looks to be a dealer part - not finding it online.
