I tried starting the car and shutting it off with the stop lever and it shuts off right away, its only sometimes (when the car wont shut off with the key either) that it doesn't work. Probably 95 out of 100 times it shuts off right away just like a gas car would whether you use the key or the stop lever, but sometimes something else it making it not work right. I have lubed the linkage and it seems to move fairly easily, the sticky gas pedal is because of the change in the pedal design, unless the rod that the plastic pedal attaches to inside the car is damaged, I dont know why else it would do that when other peoples don't.
Im just not sure what I should do, if its something wrong with the linkage, or an intermittent vacuum leak or something like that I will just wait until it happens often enough I can maybe figure out what causes it, but if it turns out to be something wrong with the injection pump (which I think it is, but I dont know enough about how they work to be sure), I dont think I want to put that much money into fixing it.
