I've repaired a few of these vacuum type units, about 5-6 to date so far. I don't have the means to fully test them as of yet so I just charge $20 less than my normal rate.

So far, everyone I've worked on has worked when the owner tested it.

I wish it wasn't so barred in the dash, I hate laying in the drivers seat backwards attempting to not drop the tools....then have them roll underneath me....causing me to have to wiggle out, then back again while a crowd gathers on the street wondering if I am attempting to steal the car.....so far now I use the accelerator peddle.....one day I will tackle that....
