W124 Blower Motor Compatibility Question
I have my 91 300D in the shop for a non-working blower....it's either the blower motor or the regulator. I don't THINK I have a pollen filter but I'm not sure...I'll find out soon enough.
Which replacement blower motor to get depends on whether or not there's a pollen filter. I have a line on a virtually brand new Bosch unit for $60. It's from a 93 300TE. The part number on it is 0130111012, which is the part number just for the motor (exclusive of the squirrel cage). The part number for the full assembly is EITHER 0008308208 or 1248200608, depending on whether or not there's a pollen filter. So can anyone clarify this for me? Is it the configuration of the squirrel cage that determines the difference? Is the motor itself the same in all cases? Just trying to figure out if I'll be able to make use of this part. Thanks.
