How do you get it to activate the Glow Plugs/Pre-glow before starting?

I think it would work OK out here in Southren California after the Car is warmed up but I use the Glow Plugs in the Morning and when the Engine has not been used long enough and has cooled down.

Also I occasionally manage to leave My Car in Drive. If I remoted started the Car in Drive would it take off without me?

As long as you don't have an RFID in your key and the tranny is an automatic this will work with any gas or diesel vehicle where you can connect to the wires that are hot when you'd otherwise have the normal key in the "run" and "start" positions. Glow plug operation is the same as when using the key: you turn on the ignition with one button, wait for as long you'd wait when using the key, and then press the "start" button on the remote. If your glow plugs are not automatic, the remote also has a second "momentary" button that can be connected to run the glow plugs manually. With minor electrical knowledge you can do this yourself, or for $5 I can make the changes to the wireless receiver for you. .
