82 300td antenna question
What does a new antenna mast for w123 300td 1982 look like?
Reason i ask is am replacing mine and my toothed new replacement is fatter in diameter it seems,or maybe my antenna takes a smooth mast and what am seeing is a smooth mast with mini ridges on it. any help? thanks

Check your other thread. I think from that pic your motor shows a smooth mast cable not a toothed. The different articles in the wikka show an opened motor for a tooth cable and for a smooth cable. Yours looks closer to the smooth.

thanks,thats what i thought,however there are some ridges so i thought those were worn down teeth.ya think?
