Be aware that the coupe has different gear teeth on the window motor than a 300sd or 300d so parts are going to be specific to the 300cd.

I may have a new regulator for the right side. P/N is 123 670 15 03 if anyone is interested.

Someone on the forum sold one to me for a reasonable price. The parts are not unique to the diesel coupe, they are unique to the coupe, gas or diesel. I believe that a W123 and a W126 are interchangeable. The gear on your motor is still good, so all you need is the window regulator.

Post a "WTB" thread in the used parts section of the forum.

The reason the teeth at the top of the travel get worn/broken is that people try to seal out the wind noise on the unframed window. So they are constantly adjusting the window up and down in the top 2" of travel. That top 2" on a coupe gets about 3x the "miles" that a framed window on a sedan gets.

Did it fit and work seemlessly or is there a problem with the W126 coupe part in the W123 Coupe? What was your W126 part number?

I also got some manual euro rear crank regulators stashed somewhere,

I would like to figure out how to take the mechanism from a euro manual sunroof and convert a cd one to manual --but i think only sedans and wagons had them. One of the coupes had no sunroof.

OK, But which one of you CD owners wants a new regulator for a rear window. I have new, original MB P/N 123 670 15 03 that I'm looking to sell.

Currently, I am not in need.

I use caution to not keep the up or down button engaged more than necessary, I believe this is the cause of premature failure.

PanZZer ,

I'd be interested in those regulators if you have them.
