W124 trunk cargo max weight

So, what is the max amount of weight I can put in my trunk?

I remember reading something forever ago that said 200#.

If you have no rear passengers, you can put another 500# in the back seat. Your car will have quite the stance.

Hmm. Think I can put an Om606 in my back seat if I carefully shove it in there? I have no passengers.
