Rear dome lamp switch in the shifter console is all I'm seeing. Why, I cannot say. Controlling something new, perhaps?

you removed the speaker fader and installed a switch labeled rear dome lights... daytime running lights? or is the light switch the only one you could find, so it controlls something else, say nitrous/fuel dump for a massive power increase?

Your sig indicates the stable of a guy with a need for speed.

'Blind' switch to remotely activate hidden radar detector?

I'm in a James Bond mood so I vote the switch controls the passenger side ejector seat.

But it could always be rockets, machine guns, smoke screen, oil slick, nails, tire destroying spinners controlled by a solenoid, rocket assist, pressurization and propellers for underwater use...

You rigged it to power all the windows up at the same time with one switch? It has to be that or else you are making a convertible.

That switch is on/off, not a momentary. That may be a clue. On my wagon I put driving lights in place of the reverse lights and have them wired to come on with the shifter in r, or if someone gets on my butt at night they are wired up to a switch to help add a buffer zone. I like the idea of moving my switch to that location.
Did you wire your reverse lights to a switch?

really liking the responses

some clues

1: The switch is a simple on/off switch
2: its the only on/off switch that I thought of that doesn't look completely out of place
3: It has a very simple function

You installed an electric fan to replace the belt driven fan. this is either a over ride to turn it on if the temp sensor doesn`t kick it on.
