82 240D Windshield - green or bronze tint?
I will need to replace my original windshield on my 1982 240D and the auto glass place is asking me if the original windshield had the green tint or bronze tint.
Does anyone know what color tint it had originally? I will need to replace the gasket as well. Any recommendations or tips? Thanks. Louis |

I would advise that if this car is a "keeper", use an OEM windshield and a new OEM gasket if required.

For the Front people have been saying the OE Windshield Rubber Gasket is the best fit.
The Rear Window is not so picky. I was suprised to find My frnt Windshield was made in Mexico; likely a replacement.
