I couldnt get myself to do much on it Monday ,yesterday I pulled the fender ,bumper ,to get a better look ,its bad.The torsion bar is bent like an s ,the impact cracked the wheel well up to the brake master cylinder ,followed by broken and bent suspention pieces .The driovers tire is shoved back hitting the wheel well .The only thing going for it is it didnt get into the doors ,they work freely .My land lord owns a body shop ,have to find out his opinion since this is what he does for a living. If I pull the suspention off and he can get a good measurements off my other 300cds this might come back as a driver ,for now its bum city.
I was able to get online to veiw the cities traffic cameras ,they have one looking right down at my cars location ,you can still see the oil spot ,it takes a photo every 8 minutes ,unfortunatly they say nothing is stored .I was hoping to see the car who entered my lane in a photo ,no such look.A video camers is a mile further down the road but no captured video ,just live feed.

With the price and quality of micro cameras and memory these days it might be worthwhile hooking some up in your car to record continuous 360° video while you drive.

Glad to hear you are OK. Sorry to hear about the car. At least you had some tough German steel to protect you.

I know what you mean about idiots. I can't begin to tell you how many times I am driving south on rt121 going past the rt35 exit and some moron pulls out of line and into traffic going 60+ MPH. If you are waiting in the line to get on rt35, then stay there. That's why you got in the line in the first place, right? I was driving the F250 and I swear I was an inch away from sending some lady to the hospital and her new Lexus to the scrap yard. Every couple of weeks, there is an accident there and guess why...
