Google Custom Search ????

Does anyone know what happened to Google Custom search? It's vanished for the past couple of days.

It used to look something like this

It's obviously possible to do your own using the advanced function like this

It's just really nice to have it right within the forum itself.

likely it's due to the recent MASSIVE SPAM ATTACK we have been fighting...
changes had to be made to the system to cut down on the hits, I'm sure it'll be back if possible, once the mess is handled!

Yea, I saw the site was down at an unexpected time for longer than regular maintenance recently, but hadn't heard about the attack.

Thanks

I noticed it last night when I was doing a search on the 2 sizes of wrenches to use to remove the ALDA. the Google part of it sure was slick, and worked. what we have for the search is....well.... HMMMMM.....you know.
Then got to thinking it was another improvement upgrade, sort of...

I knew something was up when the Forum was down almost all day.
