Something loose?

I have had the old girl in the barn for awhile making some repairs. (84 300SD) I got her back together and on the road. It seems that when I accelerate I feel like the rear of the car moves to the right. I did notice a slight rattle from the driver side rear that I can not seem to locate. I had thought the worn shocks were causing the sound.

I have not driven it in several months and it could have done it back then. You know how you notice things in a new car.

I replaced the shocks, tires, oil/fuel filter change and a rear flex joint. When i had it jacked up i did the usual wiggle and twist of each wheel just to see if there was any play in anything. I did not notice anything abnormal.

Any idea?

Rear subframe mounts? Or the large mount on the differential.

Does your model have sway bar links? If so, give 'em a look.
