Reinstall greazzer cleaned injectors. Readjust valves. Inspect glow plugs by looking into the injector holes.

the W210 let go all her IP seals/gaskets @ once due to a steady diet of B100 & hot-rodding. So...@ RDM Mercedes: all that + shocks & motor mounts, alt & belt... all the fluids & filters.

A new head. Anybody interested in a warped 14 head that's already been machined down to near minimum thickness?

Sounds like a great doorstop or boat-anchor for that very special person on your Christmas-list!

Well, it got me. The no heat thing had to end, so I broke down and purchased a new blower motor. I may have saved $550 over buying the darn thing at the dealer, but $200 still hurts. I expect not to have to replace the thing again for another 35 years.

I envy you folks with the common later model blower motors. Now if you will excuse me, I am going to go heat up some ramen noodles.

Well, the valve adjustment I said I'd give my car for Christmas is scheduled for Monday. In the meantime, think I'll go get my battery tested and see if taking advantage of Advance's sale would be a good idea.

Got the valve adjustment done yesterday, definitely has more power now, and although she's a little reluctant to downshift when I let my foot off the brake now, my husband assures me that's fine because it means the engine is holding higher RPMs easier now due to the higher compression.
