Need instructions on changing motor mounts on 240D

Hi guys,
I'm about to do my first big project on my 1980 240D. The only problem is I have no idea how to go about changing these mounts. I've read a lot of forums but I was wondering if anyone had some pictures and tips about how to do this. I really don't want to mess up the car in the process.
Thanks a bunch

OM617 Motor Mount DIY

Raise the engine as needed pr the instructions:

There are hex screws top and bottom. The top ones hold the mount to the frame, the bottom ones hold the mount to the engine.

Bottom:

View of one from the top (there are two, they can be tricky):

Dont forget to release the engine shocks:

They (the shocks) mount in the arms off the engine, you may have one or two, or none... See the mount with the hole in it:

The mounts, first pic is both old ones and the second pic is old vs. new. These (the pictures are all from my 300CD, but it is all very similar) were MB boxed, and I could tell they were made by Lemfoerder.

Dont forget the heat shields:

Be really careful threading in the 8mm allen bolt that goes into the mount arm from underneath. It's really easy to get it cross threaded because things aren't lining up properly, and the arm is aluminum so it will strip easily. Also make sure to take the nuts off the top of the engine shocks or you'll tear the shock mount to pieces when you jack the engine up.

Usually I gently tap on the allen socket with a mallet to make it seat properly before I actually try crack it open. All these years of happy dieseling will lead to dirt/grime build up in these allen bolts.

STEP ONE IS GET THE LOWER 8MM ALLEN HEAD CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!!! and do not attempt to loosen it when it's wet. get it clean and dry!!!
this of course is exceedingly difficult to accomplish. and messy, and can lead to blindness... don't get the brake spray in your eyes!
after the head is cleaned out and dry, THEN get the allen socket seated in the bolt and hammer it in tight to loosen the bolt.
I use a IMPACT 8mm allen socket about 1.5" long, and put it on a locking extension to reach up into the hole in the frame. while holding the head of the ratchet with my one hand, and the end of it with the other, I PUSH solid and QUICK to pop the bolt free.
it's ALWAYS tight, and hard to loosen, and if the allen socket is even SLIGHTLY off square, it'll slip and ruin the bolt! so BE CAREFUL HOLDING THE TOOLS STRAIGHT!!!
I use a 1/2" drive ratchet, and an adapter to 3/8" for the extension and socket.
