Crazy! I think I will buy one just to see what happens!

Edit: I bought all of them.

They have 99.7% positive feedback with tons of items sold....maybe they were just cleaning house!

He refunded my purchase today Said they were supposed to be $41 apiece and he can't sell them that low. "wups"

Maybe I'll see if he'll sell me one for half off.

You can force that issue with Ebay, or give him 7 negative feedbacks.

I once bought a really professional Simpson meter that worked perfectly for 3.95!

The guy marked it at that price with no reserve, then after a week, no one bought it, so i got it.

He got upset with me that I didn't want to let him cancel the deal.

The meter had been there on sale for a week and no one bid but me.

Is that MY fault?

I told him he should have put a reserve on it, or started the price higher.

He was careless and not well informed and that was that.

Ebay says: a contract is a conttract.

I think you should negotiate.

If YOU made a mistake, would he cut you slack? I bet not, because
" business is business."

Definately contact Ebay as their auctions are absolute...seller doesn't have a no sale option that he is attempting to exercise. Nothing may come of it other than the seller being booted off of Ebay but he should honor the contract.

I wouldn't be a jerk about it, it was obviously a mistake. If you *need* a hood pad, cut a deal with him for one at-cost

Be fair. We all make mistakes. You didn't rely on getting them at that price, and you're not out anything. Think Karma.
