Timing Chain 2005 CDI

Has anyone ever replaced the timing chain or head on a 2005 E320 CDI? I suspect that it requires tools that I do not have and can not get.

Robert

How do you know it even needs to be replaced? That engine would likely need to have some major-high miles to even be in need of it. And yes I would expect there are several special tools that will be needed.

I hope the V6 are not like the new 4cyls....they have the timing chain at the BACK of the engine!
