1975 VW Beetle with Rolls-Royce Front End and Rear Deck Lid

VW has factory Sun Roof, Aluminum Mag wheels, all glass is good, body in good shape except for surface rust. Egine was Running good when parked and still turns over good. Interior is complete but Needs to be Redone, also Needs floor pans which is typical for this old of VW. Very easy Restoration project. Title in hand. $1800 TRADES CONSIDERED.
Call David 704-830-4678

This VW makes that smoke-stack SD look restrained & tastefull! But at least, except that Rolls-nose and rear-hatch, it's still a basic beetle.
Back in the '80s I had an especially unpleasent test-drive in one of those fiberglass MG-TD replicals on a VW beetle chassis. Extremely uncomfortable, atrocious handling, and absolutely no stuctural integrity - probably the nastiest vehicle I've ever driven!

The Rolls grille on a Bug was common enough in the 70's. The car was not pretending to be a Rolls and was more of a Tee Hee , Ha Ha kind of mod.

Have a look at the $ 30,000 " Gambler " SL 320, I saw pics of this car a year ago. The tag line said the owner stopped doing drugs / drinking and put his eforts in to the car. I say yea for cleaning up his act, not so yea for the car.

Pics on Craigslist don't seem to work so well with my computer so I can't post them.

Okay so he stopped doing the drugs and he needed to spend the cash he would normally spend on drugs on something else so he chose what he's fathers Mercedes? God I wish I had an endless supply of cash to spend on drugs.....the Mary Jane must have been medical cuz I think he was still high :D

42 MPG Mercedes-Benz

This car IS driven daily. Everything that is wrong with this car includes the back passenger window has quit rolling, but it is locked UP. The climate control isnt working, but I have found the relay (20.00 dollars online) that needs to be replaced to get it doing- it is a relay for the blower, the odometer quit about a year ago but benefit of the doubt- i would say its at 194k- this IS a diesel so it will go for WELL over 300,000. finally, the radio doesnt work properly, but I am including a kenwood car radio for free.
This car was converted to run on USED COOKING OIL OR DIESEL. It uses the same gas tank so you can even mix the two. This conversion is so simple to operate, a caveman could do it. Since Ive used grease in the car, Ive saved easily over 5k in fuel cost. IT is GREAT on fuel economy, diesel is about 37mpg and grease is getting about 41/42.
The car is a 1985 mercedes Benz 300SD Turrbo-Diesel. Yes, the turbo works GREAT. Car shifts great, and always starts right up with a good idle. Clean title, registered and inspected. All fluids maintained.

Call or text me for any additional information. price is FIRM but will consider trades of other fun cars.
I am a medical engineer student so I prefer cash! school has broken my wallet long ago!

way more than 194k on that. i've got 300k on mine and it looks pristine compared to that.

A few months ago, Craigslist changed their picture system from fixed 4 to selectable. Pictures will pop up for a second or two then vanish from my screen.

They also added embedded maps further causing me problems.

vstech 03-07-2013 08:53 PM

click on the little pic, then the big pic stays put.
then right click on the big pic, and copy location...
then paste the location into the upload from url in manage attachments...
easy peasy...

"IT'S A DIESEL!

Selling this awesomely different Mercedes 300SD.Yes that is the exhaust stack. It's Awesome. It gets awesome fuel economy too, about 30-city and around 40-highway.

Car has 212k miles, oil recently changed all windows roll down (power windows)

she runs wonderful for her age! The upholstery is a little banged up but to be expected for an 83. Mechanically she is sound, these motors are famous for being super reliable. Im asking $1100 about. Have title."

That's not an unreasonable starting price for the car but if I bought it, I would trailer it home. I would also bring a hacksaw with me to cut off that silly hood stack so I would not be seen even trailering something that tacky. I'm a redneck for sure but hood stacks are for tractor pulls and tractor pulls only!

I trailered my car home but that was because the tags and inspection were long past expired and at the time, I had no one else to drive the car for me.

I beat you to this one. Been seeing it pop up for about 8 months or so. The guy changes the ad up every once in a while but it is the same car. He started it at around $1500, then suddenly changed his mind.

I think it is interesting that Silber Adler runs Linux on his PC. Looks like a Gnome GUI he's got.

Silber Adler 03-08-2013 09:52 AM

Hi Eaton
Yeah my computer has been through heck and in some respects it is a turd. It started life about 10 years ago.

I had to take an angle grinder and cut out some of the case when I replaced the mother board about 7 years ago. Reinforced the case with a sheet of luan plywood. 6 years ago an ex employee set off a time bomb in the hard drive after she was discovered for embezzlement. The cooling fans are bungeed in with cable ties. I converted it to Linux about a year ago as it was so slow with windows.

Where was it apparent that I have Linux?
