Thank you Frank,

I do have all the Gen 2 latches and grill which I would use.

So the hinges are the same?

Hinges are the same; they stay with the body structure. Open the hood to upright, remove the clips from the pins, remove the aft pins, swing the hood down, remove the forward pins. But you know all that already!;)

Needless to say I have a Gen 1 hood picked out and I will pick it up.
