K1 spring question 722.403
 

I've got minor flaring between 2 - 3 under hard acceleration in my '85 190D W201 with the 2.2 and the 722-403 auto tranny. Several threads have indicated the K1 spring replacement is a cheap easy job that often cures this ailment. BioPete has offered me a K1 spring kit he bought for a 722-4?? behind a 2.5DT in a 300D but never installed. Should this K1 spring be the same across all the 722-4 series of trannies?
