Looking for input on 603 cylinder head with 16 casting

Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about a Mercedes OM603 cylinder head with a #16 casting? Is it a recommended replacement for the #14? What, if any modifications have to be made? Thany you!

The #16 head might be for the normally aspirated 603 engine, not ever officially sold in USA. AFAIK the #17 head followed #14 for the turbocharged 603 engine.
