I might have solved the power issue. Correct fuel pressure now, resonator delete, cooling fan delete

what cooling fan did you delete?

canada is cold, but can you live without the engine cooling fan?

I suggest if you haven't already done so, shim the ALDA or remove the seal and adjust it a bit to see if power increases without a lot of smoke. And if the timing is off due to a worn chain, then all bets are off.
Don't remove the cooling fan or you may be hastening the demise of that engine.

If I can live with out one here in Holland for a summer I'm guessing he'll be OK where he is.

You might want to Ctrl-Z that cooling Fan

Deleting fans will gain you nothing but an overheated engine!

No, where he is it is much hotter in summertime than in NL. Last year I was there and for a couple of weeks the daily highs were in 35-37 *C (real temperature not "feels like..." fake temp). Also, perhaps more important, the traffic is terrible and a lot of being stopped... autosnelweg in name only

Much better now. Still one hill the car hates. Really steep one up to the inlaws. I dont care much if the car can do that hill electric fan will be going on once I get a temp switch. Never sit in traffic and keep an eye on the temp. Right now it is rarely above freezing.
