Tough to say without pics and a more detailed description of the mechanical condition of the car.

I havent seen the car yet but picture looks good it is local so will see it in a few days. records back 23 years, sounds pretty together for an older car... it is not mint but it sounds like it has been well maintained...
Maybe I should be asking for opinions of an acceptable range of price
thank you

the 85 SD was the top for the first gen 126, it was available with heated seats, tilt steering wheel, ABS brakes, SRS driver's air bag, etc... those options all present make the car more desirable, of course, if they are broken then you have more to repair...
mine had all but the airbag and telescoping wheel...
the nice thing about the 85's is the economy, and the power. best of the 126 series. if the car was well maintained for those years, you could be looking at a car good for another 150K before serious maintenance is needed. (serious being damage- you STILL need the oil and valve maintenance!!!)

bubbles in the paint, ESPECIALLY if the paint shows signs of a repaint, are important to examine. the #1 value killer on these cars is rust. if it's eaten, I'd pass.
