Sean,

I like design numbers 2 and 3 from your latest posting. I really like the one with the large D. However, the slogan, as I originally submitted is: Spark-Free Since 1892!
No "plug" in the slogan.

Yeah Bill, I agree with you on design number 2. The only reason I mentioned number 3 is because the wrench kind of ties us in with the rest of the group - the non-Dieselers(the unenlightened). But I think design 2 is really good(as long as the slogan is corrected).

BTW, what happened to Kinsley? He was pretty hot to start on a design too.

#2 is the best IMO. I still like the original one with the big "D" and the OEL in the middle, though!

Kirk, you've got a winner there. Let's not even bother to correct your spelling of discussion. That would take away from your artistic vision. Bravo! Bravo!

Artistic licence dictates that I can change the spelling of words as I see fit

I knew I was going to make a stupid mistake like that! I'll get that "plug" out of there ASAP.
Thanks for the other compliments, though.

It sounds like it is between #2 and #3, so I'll fix them and resubmit soon. I will try to find a better MercedesShop wrench to use, but I kind of agree with Bill that we should have our own logo going. I could also redo the #2 design so that it is the shape of a regular bumper sticker.

Kirk, I really do like your idea also. With your permission, I might try to make one that is a little more reconizable as a Mercedes. No offense of course!

I'll get back to you all with alternatives by late tonight or tomorrow morning.

OK, Check that same link for 3 new picts. Both 2 & 3 are "fixed" and these also an alternate for pict #2. Kirk, I'm gonna try to make one with diesel smoke later tonight! Have a good weekend everyone.

P.S. I can deal with the size of the images later, right now I'm just worried about the content. More suggestions/feedback are welcome!

I really like both #3 as said before, and 2 as well. Personally, Im not a fan of bumper stickers, but I do like those clear sticklers that the actual sticker part is transparent and the logo is visible. I dont know if these can be optimized to be that way, but if they can great... Ill have one on my car either way...

I vote for "#2 fixed": the big "D" is very distinctive. With a clear background it's intriguing but understated.

I vote for the car one, especially when it will look like a car

I'm still here, but I don't have time to submit any revisions to my logo right now, so it will have to do. You're welcome to include it in the poll, although it doesn't seem to have had much enthusiastic response.

mjkinsley:

only the very first design you had made, with the angled merc. symbol and the url in it comes up, the other pics are dead links. I like that one very much, could you post up the others again so I could take a look at them? I do like the design...
