Ok,

I reseated the connector to the glow plug relay and checked connections at the back of the dash and that seems to have solved the glow plug light issue. When I get a chance I will crawl under it and check the ground strap.

As for the surge/pulse, it has gone for now too. I did notice it seems to occur when the fuel tank is MORE than 3/4 full. Weird. If it starts doing it again I will post more.

Thanks for now,

Glenn

Signifigant clue there wth the high fuel level.Just do not know what to make of it. Acting up at low fuel levels more would be common.

Although a partially blocked tank vent line just might do this on shorter trips. Where otherwise it would take a much longer distance to establish enough of a tank vacuum with lower fuel levels.

Good thought.
A fully plugged vent valve combined with a marginal fuel tank cap seal ring might do this.

Well, I cleaned the vent about a month ago, but it cannot hurt to look at it again!

Question for the OP - what do you think was the cause/solution of the stuttering?
