Can I test my W123 auxiliary fan and other similar items with the battery in my car?
That's the question, basically. I'd like the ability to test accessories such as the auxiliary fan, window motors, power antenna, etc. by running them off the battery in our Corolla. Would this hurt them at all?

I tested the auxiliary fan in my 190D using the battery, I assume it would be fine to test with another 12v battery if the component is 12v.

I routinely use
my car starter box for testing electrical components, including glow plugs, sunroof motor and fan motors.
