Well, GM tried. Then the EPA stepped in. But it finally took VW to kill diesel cars in the US.
With the news that MBZ is phasing out diesels, I guess that also means the days of Chevy's Cruze diesel are numbered.
I just hope I don't wind up having to locate interstate truck-stops when I need to fuel my 240D!

Happy Motoring, Mark

RUG's 1.99 and D2 is 2.19 at the Circle K down the street. That isn't where I fill up though.

It dropped to about a buck and a half in Greenville over the last few months. It's back up to 1.69-1.79/gal now. Still sweet after paying $4/gal.

$175

Whoa.....just drove to FL and found Diesel for $1.76 in Rock Hill, SC at an Exxon station. According to my friend that has worked for Bosch since 1968, Exxon Diesel Fuel consistently tests well.

Thought I'd bump this thread, sorry if that offends anyone.

We have diesel at 1.73/gal while RUG is 1.79 at both Weigels and Murphys here in Lafollette, TN.
The Gulf (had Algae issues there once) is 1.99 for diesel, and I didn't pay attention to other stations

Nice to see prices how they should be.

There are 2 stations in Salem that sell B20 from 1.83 to 1.88, last time I filled they were at 1.84. Best buy though is when a nearby Texaco station decides to match them with his #2 diesel! Last time that happened I got #2 for 1.88, it's been a good year.

Wished I could say the same. I just put a gallon of diesel in my white car the other night and it was 2.89 a gallon. It's gone up 42 cents since September.
