OH I see, well what do I know. when I think of the East Coast, it is some far away mysterious land. Dang, you are almost into Canada.

Isn`t that Hot Wind Generator somewhere close to you?.................Wash D.C..............

Yeah I didn`t actually originate those lines, I copied them from different posts here and there.

I'm about 1.5 hrs from Umass Lowell taking I-93 to the Everett and then heading through Tyngsborough. I have a hoist sitting outside that could go away for short money or possible parts trades. It lifts well and doesn't have any leaks on the pressure side. There is a leak from the reservoir and when the lift is unused for a period of time it needs to be refilled before it can be used again. It's currently of little use because I have a dirt floor in my barn and an overhead chainfall for engine related projects. If I still have it later this summer it will likely be modified to use in the back of my truck to lift stones for a retaining will project. But I'd rather not have it here.

You could drop Maine into the Dallas Ft. Worth area of Texas and loose it.
Old joke.

Maine farmer and Texas rancher swapping stories. Rancher says "In Texas, we've got so much land we measure in sections, not acres." Farmer, unimpressed, says "Hmm." Rancher says "My Daddy gave my brother and I each a piece of the ranch and it didn't dent his holdings. I can give each of my three sons their own piece of my ranch and you'll hardly be able to tell." Farmer, nonplussed, replies "Huh." Rancher, trying get this yankee to understand just how much land he owns, says "Listen. I can get into my truck at sunrise and head in any direction from the house. At sunset I still won't be at the property line." Finally the farmer seems to catch on. "Ohhh... Ayuh. I had a truck like that once myself."

I don't think My PM setting is working right...

You can borrow my engine hoist if you want. They are a very handy tool to have especially if you do alot of work by yourself. Just down the road from you. If you need it shoot me a PM or give me a call. I am around most of this weekend and week except monday.

Just for lift info as I'm too far away, I've got a Blue Bird brand snap together engine lift. It was purchased used 25 years ago for $ 250 and well worth it. Great welds and design as opposed to the china stuff. Each piece can easily be loaded in to a truck Vs the folding ones are a bit heavy.

Something to think about, the china units are built to the lowest price. If you won't get under a car being held up by a china jack, why would you trust a china engine hoist not too fall?
