My 1980 or 79 om617 engine( dont know the source vehicle) has the spline driven vacuum pump, not roller style. Looking for rebuild parts. Its Pierburg, has 2 lines. suction line on drivers side. Exhaust port faces passenger side.
Not having any luck looking for parts kits that match this setup.

Is this a good reliable style of pump? I have rebuilt several of the other style but have no experience with this model.

Big difference is the way its driven. Not a roller cam model. Has spline and driven by rotation of the shaft. You cant tell this until you remove it. I had a rebuilt pump ready to swap in, but it is completely different in the drive mechanism

I read about these once but now cant find any info.

I have see pic in the Manual.
I thought it was only the Double Diaphragm ones but I did not read the Manual closely.

That's a double diaphragm repair kit. Is yours a double diaphragm pump?
